The waitress was very knowledgeable and explained what the dishes were and you can get them super spicy or mild depending on your preference. The food was better than I expected and very large portions. Definitely worth a visit.
Warm and friendly staff, and deliciously prepared food. It was reasonably priced too. Some of the best Indian food I’ve had in awhile. Good vegetarian options. Definitely going back next time I’m in Nanaimo!
Tried this place for the first time on my visit to Nanaimo. Fortunately, all other Indian restaurants were closed, and we got to try this 1. Their menu is extensive, and the food was pretty good, too. I ordered the combo, which comes with pakoras, and, 1 main dish, gulab jamun, and a pop. We also got garlic chicken Tikka and chicken kulcha lamb keema Naan. I highly recommend their Naan as it's the best I have had so far. Their Naan is next level. Service was great by Gurleen. Prices are also reasonable. Their kitchen is also kinda see through and the seating was comfortable. I highly recommend this restaurant if you live here or are planning to visit Nanaimo. Visited again, twice in 2 days, food is amazing, and the service is good. Manisha and Narmada served us this time, and they were very friendly, accommodating and polite. Must visit!
Just when I thought Nanaimo couldn’t get better Indian places Paradise popped up on the maps for me! The Bhindi Masala for me was a show-stopper, tantalizing the taste buds with fresh and perfectly seasoned okra served and prepared to perfection. The Daal Tadka has always been comfort food for me this was nicely prepared and served with plain rice. For those with a sweet and savory craving, the Honey Garlic Potato is a good snack to start with and for the spice enthusiasts, the Chicken Vindaloo is a fiery fiesta in a bowl. Overall great place, lovely customer service and reasonably priced!

The food was nothing short of incredible. Every dish was packed with authentic flavors—highly recommend the combo meals as each comes with pakoras, a main dish, rice or naan, a drink and a sweet dessert called Gulab Jamun! The portions were generous, and the presentation was lovely. What really sets this place apart is the impeccable service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and answered all of my many question. You can tell they take pride in what they do. If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience with authentic Indian flavors, Paradise Indian Cuisine is the place to go. Can't wait to visit again!
Excellent food, priced appropriately, with top-of-the-line service! Highly recommend it. We stopped by for dinner while traveling from Campbell River to Victoria, and I must say—this place is a hidden gem! Also, shoutout to the incredibly honest staff who didn’t mislead us about whether the food was halal. Unlike other places in town, they genuinely recommended we stick to vegetarian options since they weren’t sure. Thank you

I couldn't resist trying the Lamb Curry, and it exceeded all expectations. The flavors were rich, and each bite was a burst of deliciousness. Happy Birthday to me! Wow, this place was a great choice for a delicious Indian meal, I'm stuffed full of fantastic food and very happy! We had appetizers, imported Indian (Kingfisher) beer, rice, breads, chutneys, two large dishes of flavourful lamb and prawn curry, and it was just over 80 for the two of us! Phenomenally good value, quick and friendly service, and a nice clean restaurant. I highly recommend Paradise to anyone who likes tasty, good value food and wants to support a family business. 5 stars for everything!
